They both were pretty poor in the first set and a bit - neither man serving above 50% and a lot of UEs from both - but Soderling had slightly the better of it.
Then at 0-3 in the second Berdych starts to serve a little better and cut down the UEs a little (and I do mean a LITTLE - it wasn't a major transformation, just a slight improvement) - and Soderling collapsed and lost 12 straight games! Extraordinary.
Still - the interesting SF now looks very likely so I'm happy enough.
It was just like in Robredo's match, the only difference is that Robredo is better on clay than Soderling and won the 1st set 6:1 not 7:5. Then a new Tomas arrived and the showtime began. Anyway, I don't see him beating Nadal tomorrow, sorry
