Federer don't trust in his game anymore...

When Federer played againts Seppi I saw in his eyes incertitude, fear that's mean he don't trust in his game anymore.
Is better for him to take a big holiday till Wimbledon because he have nothing to lose - is too tied and stressfull after a long domination.
We'll see today againts Lee if I was wrong or not...
How did you comment ?

Re: Federer don't trust in his game anymore...

How do you know what you saw in his eyes was fear ? How can you tell ? That said, he was bad against Seppi, but then it is almost always like that with him in the first couple of rounds. By the quarters (if he gets there) we'll have a better idea of where his game is. Also he has lots of points to defend. He reached the finals of all the clay tournaments he played in last year, so this ain't no vacation time for him.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I'm quite sure you are wrong, but okay, let's wait for the Lee match.
Fed probably was not feeling comfortable playing Seppi, but I really don't think he was afraid.

I just don't understand threads like this. It's probably only a matter of time when somebody (maybe you) starts a thread titled "Fed was wearing a red shirt and white socks, his career is over".

Good post. Fed will improve in the later rounds, he always does. Besides, his condition/downhill/collapse has been discussed so many times here already. It´s way too early to say he is in any kind of decline, he´s only human. And it certainly is no time for a vacation, there´s a tournament called French Open coming up pretty soon.
