Solid play from Andreev, he lost the momentum in the second set after being down a break and calling for medical assistance but basically dominated the final set

Re: Andreev d. Gonzalez 62 26 63

It all seems like very hard work for Gonzo at the moment - he's trying to allow the sort of form he found in Australia to come out, and it isn't doing - and so he's trying to force it - and that isn't working either.

The last Russian fighter! I really like Andreev. His inside-out forehand is "magnifique"

Good job for Igor but I am disappointed for Gonzo.

I like a lot of players.

Re: Andreev d. Gonzalez 62 26 63

I'm sad for Gonzo, I love him. But I love Andreev, too, and I can see him coming out of this quarter. How great would an Andreev/Nadal semifinal be? Considering Andreev was the last person to beat Rafa on clay...

Re: Andreev d. Gonzalez 62 26 63

Fena I think he needed a little more clay court times to fully prepare. With a bye in the first round, he needed to play one of those smaller tournies to get use to clay.

Congrats to Andreev
