Yeah good luck to all 3.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

And Mantilla. Don't forget Mantilla. His match against Spadea will be a true spectacle of grass-court tennis at its finest, but sadly I don't think it'll be on a televised court. LOL, like one of the commentators said today about the Ferrero-Koubek match, the stats man counting the number of net approaches will be engrossed in a good book by the middle of this one.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

I would pay to watch that one!

mantilla's 150km/h kick serve = havoc on grass!

Spadea = mesmerizing crosscourt backhands!!

clearly match of the day!

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.

Mantilla-Spadea, they will be fighting to get in to see this battle of the grasscourt maestros.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

and now Moya is out as well.

also I heard the commentator saying that the last time a Spanish player was in the last 8 of Wimbledon was in 1972.

A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is braver five minutes longer - Ralph Waldo Emerson.
