Re: Week 38: Gwangju, Korea

FINAL

Matthias BACHINGER (GER) vs [Q] Tsung-Hua YANG (TPE)

It's 12th (2-8 + 1 w/o win) Challenger Final for 30yo BACHINGER and 3rd (0-2) for 26yo YANG.

Maui in January 2014 was the last final for YANG. He hadn't even reached a semifinal since April 2015.
BACHINGER's last final is nearly as long ago. It was Ortisei in November 2014. His last title was Athens in April 2011 (w/o vs Tursunov).

Qualifiers are 7-7 in Finals this season so far. YANG would be the 3rd lowest ranked winner in 2017.
