Should I book the tickets now?

I'm going to visit RG (1st week, only 3 days), so I'm getting worried - will I be able to buy tickets in the box office? I hope, that in the beginning of the tournament it won't be too overcrowded... And what about queue? I'm not redy to sleep under the tent next to the box office At the worst - is there a black market on RG, where i could buy the "extra charge" tickets?
Thanks!

Yes Bart, definately buy them now! I don't know where you live, but tickets go on sale to non-French purchasers from Monday 22nd - you can write to the French Tennis Federation for a reservation form or download one from their web-site as from Monday. Don't worry about the tent though - there is no queueing at Roland Garros - you have to get your tickets before you go. And as for the black market - oh yes, there is a good one - you can buy tickets for anything very easily - and they're not usually too expensive - just depends how good your French is and how much you're prepared to "barter" Hope that helped! Good Luck.

I guess you could try to phone them, but they will have thousands to deal with and probably wouldn't have the time or the staffing levels to be able to do it.

Have fun, joeb I'm sure all will be fine. I take it the French won't be as stubborn with respect to talking English at RG than elsewhere lol

Re: Should I book the tickets now?

ok, i had trobles. i ordered one that was 73 euros a night, that was 2 miles away. then one 0.2 miles away and both got turned down. i tryed one thats 1.7-5km away and its 90 euros. i think i have it, im not certain tho!! its just 2 star, double/twin, shower, tv etc. i dont mind being 3 miles away, but i dont want to be like an hour away. but the closer they are, they are so much more.

tickets sent through post? not yet
