I know, it's bizarre. Yesterday there was a second DC conference and neither the captain of our team nor Jerzy himself wanted to say anything on the subject. Both said everything will be confirmed on Thursday and that more details will be known then. It's hard for me to believe they're still seriously considering him playing if he wasn't able to practice normally even once since USO and it would probably only make the whole situation even worse.

Jersy is probably going to play and risk himself more injury, he's just too passionate at times

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

OMG

Why would he do that and possibly ruin the rest of his season

I know this is a huge opportunity for the Polish DC team to make the World Group playoffs, but Jerzy is risking so much...The rest of the season, possible surgery, recovery time and the start of next season

Don't do it Jerzy Jagger

Sad news, I know how much representing Poland means to Jerzy, but he needs to do what's best for his health and I am sure Polish team and supporters understand his decision.

On the plus side he's young so will have plenty more opportunities to appear in future DCs when he is back to full health

Re: Poland (including Jerzy) Davis Cup discussion.

Sad news to hear that Jerzy won´t play this weekend, but im sure he did it cause it was necessary,as Caly said he will help Poland in the future to make the big step.

So trust in your team they can do it.

Smart decision, Jerzy

Does any Polish friend know the extent of his back injury

How long is he gonna be out for? Is he having surgery?

Jerzy said he needs at least 3 more weeks of rehabilitation, no practise at all in this time. The team wanted him to play, but the doctors told him not to.

He looked despondent

I can't view this in U.S.

3 weeks...That means he probably will miss the Asian swing

Re: Poland (including Jerzy) Davis Cup discussion.

Wise but definitely difficult decision for JJ. DC means a lot to him but playing would be extremely risky, just like you guys said he'll have plenty of chances in the future.
I only hope these three weeks bring positive outcome and by then he's really ready to practice and play normally again but we need to wait and see.

Today Kubot vs. Hewitt for the opening match, I'm excited! Will be cheering as loud as I can
