Who is JJ team and how do you get in contact with them? I want to talk to Jerzy...I hope he will sign autographs and talk to people in Cincinnati...He should set up an autograph session like a meet/greet when he comes here....I am only an hour and a half from Mason which is where the Cincinnati tournament is!!! I grew up in that part of Ohio:)

I can't wait to meet him in Cincinnati:yeah: and get pictures...He seems like such a nice and funny and down to eart guyy...

My name is Jamie and I live in Columbus, Ohio...I am finishing my second master's degree at the Ohio State University which I will be done with at the end of July...My second master's degree is in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9):yeah:

I have always wanted to visit Poland and even the screensaver on my laptop is a beautiful picture of Gdansk at night with the lights showing in the city streets

My sister's husband's business partner spent Thanksgiving with us in 2011 and it was so cool to talk to him about Poland and I asked him so many questions about the culture and I even learned some conversational Polish phrases so he would feel more at home during his visit:)

He had never been to "Thanksgiving" because they do not celebrate that in Poland...I told him what I had learned about the President of Poland and his plane crash and the fact that the former President of Poland was a twin...which is cool because I am a twin too...I told him how I follow tennis and he told me that Aga Radwanska was like a celebrity in Poland:haha:

I would love to visit one day and experience the culture, but like Joe, money is hard to come by when you are just a student working on your degree...

I really hope Poland wins the Davis Cup tie and makes it into the World Group...So many Polish firsts in tennis this year...It is very exciting and I am rooting very hard for Jerzy and Lukasz tomorrow to come through:cheerleader:

Wow that's great Jamie, I didn't know you're such a fan of Poland :D We do have some nice cities like Gdansk or Cracow and Warsaw has a few great places as well but our mountains beat everything else ;)
It's true Agnieszka is famous because she's one of the most accomplished Polish athletes but she isn't liked by everyone here mostly because of her political views...
As for Jurek & Lukasz if they make QF tomorrow this will be the news of the month haha Seriously everyone would write and talk about this but it'd be great for Polish tennis because it's still not that popular here. I mean when JJ played the finale in Bercy almost everyone I spoke with thought he was playing against Federer

I will visit Poland soon for DC tie. Maybe Ola will offer free accomodation :superlol:.

Since i am now in contact with JJ team perhaps they could arrange me tickets.
 No problem mate, let's make a deal - I offer you a place to stay and you offer me VIP seats for DC tie :D

Omg have fun tomorrow, I'll be at my stupid work checking live commentary every 30 seconds

Why do I always assume that all the people on MTF are men? I mean I knew that Jamie's female, because she's been around for a while and I remember her posts in post-match threads after Jerzy's and Kubot's matches, but I never expected Literati to be female too. Well, she's quite new, which should be my (my mind's) excuse I guess.

My name is Maciek and I'm going to start my Master's studies in a couple of months. The funny thing is that I will have to move out to Warsaw (I am finishing Bachelor's studies in Cracow, I don't live in Cracow though) and since a Davis Cup tie in Warsaw will take place just two weeks before the classes start I am going to go for the tie and stay :)

And this is my 2000th post here :)

Haha so now the cat is out of the bag ;)

That's cool that you're moving to Warsaw right on time for DC, I have a feeling it'll be legendary! It's best to buy tickets tomorrow or the day after, I remember that best seats for RSA ran out pretty fast.

And 2000 posts is very impressive, especially for newbies like myself

 A straight male can't like other male tennis players? That is an interesting, albeit false assumption you make...Really interesting to assume some is a gay male...Strong willed and direct in my comments doesn't necessitate being gay...Maybe you have me confused with that pariah Filo V:shrug:

:superlol:

Don't embarrass yourself or your grandma....You don't want Jerzy thinking his fans are lunatics...Tell your grandma not to run out on the court and start hitting Melzer with her purse:superlol:
