Are managers still needed? and what is necessary to manage a tournament, except free time to update often?
(I mean, are they some requirements like "1 year membership', or something?)

Re: PAW ATP Managers Thread

I have a question

The scoring points for the matches.. how do we get them?

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.

I just realized that the Masters Cup starts on Sunday Nov 12th. It's a problem because I'll be on vacation from Thursday 9th till Saturday night 11th.

Anyone wants to take it??

Re: PAW ATP Managers Thread

Frooty_Bazooty mentioned the issue GS Winners (placed under top 16 in Champs Race) and their qualification to TMC.

I just think its a bit unfair on people like Labamba who have had consistently good results all year and have their place in the masters cup taken by someone who might just have had a few lucky tournaments and nothing else.

We should ask other managers what do they suggest and quickly set the rule.
Personally I'm in favour of top 20.
What do you think?

Re: PAW ATP Managers Thread

We can't change it anyway, that wouldn't be fair since the last couple of weeks we've used a race with the top15 + a GS winner in top 40 qualifying. So to change it now alll of a sudden, I don't think that would be a good idea.

And on the basic principle, I think for next year it would be best not to have a low ranked GS winner qualify, but just either top 8 (my personal favorite) or top 16.
