Re: Tuesday Schedule, scores, updates and headbanging

I am very very impressed with Mirnyi`s performance so far. To win a match on clay after playing a Davis Cup quarterfinal on a superfast indoor carpet is a heck of a tough adjustment. Look at Calleri. Those people who bet on Calleri really should have taken the fact that Calleri had no time to adjust to the clay into account. I have a good better rule of thumb. Never bet on a player in the 1st round after they have played Davis Cup. DC leaves alot of players emotional wreaks and you can never be suprised when one of them suffers a bad loss the next week.

Rainer too, played Davis Cup last week and did a fine job. Its tough that he then ends up losing this match. His confidence must be low but it will come back. The thing with Rainer is that he is a professional so Im sure that its not that hes isnt making the proper effort. Last year wasnt a fluke. The slump will end. But it might take a while longer. Neely, I know you will be patient enough to stick with him during the lean times. It`s not a question of if Rainer will be back but when!!! Hang in there, Rainer.

I support......

Anyone has an idea about Nadal v Ivanisevic??

It should have followed the Schuettler match!
