Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

Paradorn is a confidence player-> obviously now his confidence is quite low but if he manages to get past Hrbaty then I think Ball may just go all the way!! Srichaphan success is crucial for further development of Players/Tournaments/Sponsors/Fans in ASIA-->> I'll always support him & hope that someday the Thai sensation may even manage a SLAM Win or atleast another big tournament like Masters(@_@).

Paradorn is so close to being a top 5 player he just needs to hang tough when the confidence goes or his A-Game goes slightly off. He's still improving but he needs a major breakthrough soon; hope he does some damage this week & makes 04 an even better year than the 02 & 03 where he made fantastic progress!!!

Cmon Ball Mate we're supporting you Down Under!

Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

well, not just cheering for him, even praying for him as well because Dominik is in a better shape this year winning 3 titles already, and winning most matches than any other players on ATP this year. so let's hope that Paradorn can display his best and beat him otherwise there will be a third straight first round lose for the Thai ace and fourth straight loses since the Australian Open.

Stay calm and focused , Paradorn !!

Don't be serious, tangerine. Paradorn is only Asian player on the top echelon of the men's side. He deserves to be Asian representative and ATP would be please to see him out there.

Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

Why are people so hung up on being Politically Correct???!!! It really pisses me off when people think there's a problem supporting someone who's a great role model for Asians, especially since Asia has been notably without a top tennis player in history, except American-Chinese Chang.
Everyone has a sense of national pride, so long as it's in a friendly manner then it's surely a positive thing. For instance everyone in Australia was overjoyed for Cathy Freeman (Aboriginal athlete) when she won the 400m at Sydney Olympics, because everyone knew she was going to inspire others to success.
Paradorn Srichaphan is obviously a phenomenon in Thailand & they've already created a tournament in Bangkok due to the popularity he's brought tennis in that country. Don't you think that if Ball managed to win a Grand Slam it would increase the popularity, coverage, sponsor interest, inspiration...etc. for other young Asian players even if they aren't from Thailand??
#### Tangerine_Dream; please stop being a wanker & get over your self-righteous crap -> it's obviously clear to everyone that Srichaphan's success is bringing lots of positives to Asian tennis, just as role models do around the world!!

As I see it, Paradorn needs cheering fr any of his fans, whether Asian or not, cos he hasn't been doing v well lately. He seems to be playing sloppy tennis, if his match vs. AA was anything to go by... I w like him to do better... perhaps he could use some additional help fr another coach. His father can't teach him everything. Maybe he's gone beyond what his Dad can teach him... which is fine.

I think it's great that an Asian player is doing so well in the world stage.

Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

I think pomnok was just trying to promote paradorn and the asian game, hes liked worlwide and he's like the david beckham in status in thailand so its important to get every asian following when you got a sporting icon like him thats come along, gets the game hugely popular so you get another paradorn to take up the game.

Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

I totally agree aussie, you have to watch every word and sentence in life today as it offends somebody or they pick stitches at how you put it together.

you can gurantee there is no good comedy on tv today as some people somewhere take offence and write letters of complaint so producers have to make stuff that keeps everyone everywhere happy and to do this it has to be weak and crap. so will the politically correct brigade CHILL OUT AND LOOSEN UP...your not on this life for that long so ENJOY IT !!!!

Re: Asian people especially in Dubai please cheer Paradorn

its actually racist to take offence at a paradorn fan wanting asians to follow him as its saying I am not asian so I must be included in your rounding up support.

if new yorkers said all new yorkers please cheer for the new york yankees thats seen as ok but woooooo onc thee word asian or skin colour is mentioned theres tension for some people who call people racist !! how ironic !! to take offence and say someone is racist when they have said nothing wrong shows the offended person has many racial issues to deal with.
