That's not good news. I saw the match with Srichaphan briefly, and I knew he was gonna lose. Shots that he would normally crush as winners landed beyond the baseline....and, of course, I saw the customary racquet-throwing scene. He needs to learn how to control himself and keep his level.

I don't care how tough the draw could be. As a matter of fact, his fitness and his form should be mainly in concern. If he does get a tough draw, maybe he'll be intrigued to fight at his best.
I agree about the draw. You can't complain simply because he lost. As the #3 player, the presumption is that David can win over all but 2 players in the draw. So, if he doesn't, it's his issue and not the draw.

I like David's game, but let's be realistic. He loses games, it's not some outside force like the draw working against him. In fact, I think several other players could complain about the draw.

I don't know why, but I don't mind when he does that. At least he's showing some emotion.
He needs to find the right level and rhythm on a more consistent basis. He could find it in Miami or during the clay-court season, but he will find it again. Saying that this injury came at a bad time because he was going through the best phase of his career results-wise.

I don't understand why we justify Dave's losses.
It's up to Dave and his coach to do the justifying and appropriate work.

I'm not justifying his losses; in fact, I'm just about as shocked as anyone.

This is a good draw for David. He could make the semis if he's focused enough. Go, David!!!

If he can get past Berdych. I don't see why he shouldn't make the semis.

You're right about that.
Pretty similar draw to Indian Wells in terms of difficulty imo.
The potential match with Berdych will be interesting if he makes it that far but always expect the unexpected with Nalbo.

Since he's had enough time to digest that loss and is rested sufficiently, I think he's ready to go. Again...vamos David!!!

Re: **~~David, seek your trophy in Miami~~**

David has gotten the good draw both in Indian Wells and Miami. He missed his chance at the first one. I hope he will take another chance at Miami.

Best of luck, David. I want to see Nalbandian VS. Nadal so much. Please make my dream come true.

This matchup is ripe with possibilities. While I hope David and Rafa meet eventually in a professional match, I don't know.
