Well I've woken up to the worst rain I've seen here in a while - just like the forecasters predicted,
so I don't see much chance of David playing today. If it clears later they'll probably get one match in starting at about 4.30pm, but David isn't scheduled first and the light won't last long when it's this cloudy, so he won't play unless they change his court - and we all know how much he'll love that
Because Stoke Park is really only a tennis club not an international venue, the second court is really only a practice court - good grass but no chairs for the spectators and only about 5 feet between the court and the Bar area! I saw him lose to Feli Lopez there last year (he got moved last year too), so I'm hoping that won't happen again. I'll go along later and see what's happening, but if it looks as bad as it does now, I'm not staying there all day - I'll come home, and keep in touch with them by phone to see if there is a chance of play. Will keep you posted.
