Re: Australian Open, January 17 - 30, 2005

Dave is 3rd match on Vodafone I am not sure how much of it I will see, but I will have to be in plenty of places at once.

Zabaleta vs Kimmich
Gonzo vs Acasuso
Ferrer vs Nalbandian
Almagro vs Reynolds
Pavel vs Mutis
Mantilla vs Hernych
Cañas vs Guccione
Saretta vs Healey

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1

Yeah Ceci, Moyá lost. I kind of see it coming. It was very difficult for him to beat García in Chennai, and he hasn't been playing well at all lately. I know he won a title already, but he didn't play well at all there...I'd say Srichaphan choked...
The good news is that he didn't have anything to defend, so it's not so bad for him.
