That's not a bad draw. Hope he takes advantage.

Re: AIG JAPAN OPEN

Yes - it looks OK - just hope he can stay healthy - that's the most important thing Wish this tournament was televised here but we get Lyon instead.

Re: AIG JAPAN OPEN

They used to televise this tournament and a whole lot of tournaments here, but they don't anymore. If Andre or Andy isn't playing it, then you can forget it.

Actually Lyon is a good tournament with Calleri and J-C Ferrero so I will enjoy watching what I can when I get home from work - just rather see David that's all!

I want to see him too. The only place I can see him is here, unfortunately.

Re: AIG JAPAN OPEN

I've seen the draw, and its not a terrible one. I really hope he doesnt play Nieminen again; he's already lost to him twice this year. He should do well here.

Re: AIG JAPAN OPEN

Good morning! its 7AM in local time.
And thanks for you all reply.

I went to see the Yonexs festival yesterday.
Yonex made him work so hard.
He played 8 games with 8 different fans, and helped yonexs new shoes promotion, and further played an exhibition (just 4 games) with japanese player, Motomura(he is No2 in Japan).
Yonex should pay him a lot!!!
But he kept smiling and was in the good moods, all the time.
veeeeeeery professional!!!
And you know it was the first time I actually saw him.
He was ........sooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!
I was almost breathless!!

In fact I doubt if he is coming next year after such a heavy task.

The only good point was that he could play in the center court.(while other players were not able to practice in the court because of the rain)
Especially the exhibition match was excellent, as if it was a real game.(the result was 2-2)
I think this match was good practice for him.
In my opinion, he was not in the top condition, but getting better.
He seemed to have good conversation with martina. (she was very nice)

And it is f**king raining today again

See you later.

Thanks so much for that report, Sakura. Glad you had a great time. Too bad you couldn't get any pics. Maybe next time?

The Order of Play is out for tomorrow, and David is not there, - so we'll just have to wait til Wednesday to follow his scores! Here is the link to the Order of Play:-

Re: AIG JAPAN OPEN

So, I won't be able to get on MSN and "encourage" him until Wednesday?
