I heard long time ago that Chela is not very keen on Davis Cup. Even though when he was young and quite competitive, he didn't play many ties. But that was just what I heard from the other fans.

So he is surely to be the second singlist? His ranking is over Monaco now. If he is the second singlist, he will play Monfils on the 1st day, and that will be a big and very important match, which will lead the whole tie.

It's not clear yet who'll be the other singles player. It's between Monaco and Schwank. Apparently Vázquez hasn't made up his mind yet.

And it's also not clear yet whether Monfils will be able to play after twisting his ankle during practice today.

What is clear is that David will play singles and Schwank/Zeballos doubles.

It seems Monfils is ok now. He trains again and moves normally. Guess the ankle-twisting is not so serious.

I am not sure about this. Which week of the ranking will be used to decide the 1st player and 2nd player? This week or last week?

Yeah, seems it was nothing after all. Yesterday, there was more about his training session in the Argentine press than about their team's...

Last week. It's the ranking on the day the team nominations are made that matters. So it depends on who else is playing singles.
