Re: Sydney 2009: A warm up for AO

isn't a bad draw but I am not sure how well David is going to play.

Djokovic.Nadal.Gasquet.Simon.Tsonga.
Troicki.Verdasco.Ferrero.Tipsarevic.
Del Potro.Robredo.Cilic.
Nalbandian.Safin.Mathieu.

David has got a good draw on paper. It all depends on his current form though... We'll see what happens.

Looks like a good draw, if he plays well he should get through his section.

Gasquet Nalbandian

Safin Ginepri Hewitt Wawrinka Baghdatis Youzhny Nishikori

I just hope he gets a couple of matches in. I don't really know what will happen here.

Re: Sydney 2009: A warm up for AO

I am a little bit concerned because he is going to play with a new racket RDIS 100 MP(if it is not just a pj on a RDS 001 MP). Not many changes in specs but still a bit on technology. Hope he will get used to it by AO.

Same here.

So Llodra it is in the first match. First meeting between the two. I think this could be an interesting one.

wow, he never played against Mika before? it will be interesting to see how he will play against a serve-volleyer.

He has done quite well in the past against S&V players. Sometimes he struggles if he can not read the 1st serve but so far he was always able to punish weaker second ones severe (especially if they try to charge the net on those ones). Lodar is a hell of a volleyer when he gets to the net but he will have to serve his ass off if David is in a decent form.

Yes I am, for the first six days. Are you going as well?

I guess this is where I may as well tell everyone the good news. I'm going to be blogging for Tennis Week, for the Australian Open. I sent them the reports that I wrote for Brisbane and they liked it a lot.

I'm not getting paid for it, so I guess there are no terms. So I can watch whoever I want and blog about whatever I want.

I'm very happy for you, Krystle.

Yes, working for free has some benefits.

Yes I agree, sometimes it's better to work for free then get paid incredibly small amounts then have to meet all the terms and conditions.
