Re: Paris 2008: The Last Stand: Into the SF against Davydenko

That was an absolutely terrible second set. Playing with very little energy at all. I felt like that initially had something to do with Davydenko bringing the level of David's game with his wild inconsistency. I felt like Davydenko was the favourite to win that set since at least he was hitting some winning shots occasionally while David was kind of doing nothing.

David, this set for the top ten and a possible place in Shanghai. Look alive, dude!!!

Talk to the hand because the ears don't hear you.

I am afraid that this already went into wrong direction.

A dramatic drop in his performance in the second set...I'm starting to wonder if he's still interested!!
Vamos David

Davydenko is thumping him completely. Why did David let this to happen ?

I don't think he will win either. I was hoping there would be a change in trend in the third set but it's still the same. Totally uninspired performance at the moment, being too passive and sluggish.

Sure Davydenko played a poor game there, but hey, it looks like David has started to play with some sort of strategy again in the last two games.

It was about time, there is no way you can beat Davydenko playing passively.
