I thought that David would lose today. I'm glad that he proved me wrong . He was in scintillating form. Hopefully he can play as well as that against Federer tomorrow.

I'm actually surprised, was not expecting a one sided match & such a score. Pretty good, I'm happy for him.

hopefully this David will show up on court tomorrow. Hopefully, right.

Thats not possible is it ???

I mean robredo isnt as good as he was in 06 or whenever he got that confidence boost and played out of his skin, but hes still much better than losing 6-1 6-0 to ANYONE on clay, I mean... how?....

DAMN IT DAVID WHY THE F@#$ DID YOU LOSE THAT FIRST GAME!!!!

Lol... sorry but Im really pissed that he lost that first game now, can u imagine it?? That woulda been history, I mean F@#$ i mean damn.... look if he can play like that against the swiss he really has a chance, i just hope he realloy is playing well and hes not gonna lose focus or confidence cos swiss will be ready and has been flying under the radar.....

I dont wanna get my hopes up... should i???

Damn man I really am in disbelief, it doesnt make sense that Robredo on his best surface, the surface which was considered the ONLY surface he was good on at one point, he gets thumped like this...

Is nalby REALLY playing that well??? And Do u think that he can keep this level up like he did the end of last year (I mean yeh sure i can understand that if nalby plays the way he played end of last year he can beat anyone on ANY surface but I just cant believe that hes already recaptured that level so soon)

Today's match was a cringe-fest. David threw the entire house at Robredo, didn't he? Just surrendering one game....when's the last time that's ever happened in a match David was involved in?

Talk to the hand because the ears don't hear you.

A quick perusal of GM turns up these thread titles: David wipes the floor with Robredo, David runs Robredo into the ground. Then the classic knee-jerkers: David is the Man. Good stuff, I tell ya. If someone comes up with "David knocks the carbuncle out of Roger," I'm gonna LMAO!!!

I think the last similar result to this one is 6-0 6-0 victory over Zib in challenger circuit.

Nalbandian - Tsonga

yeah that made me laugh. I mean why can't people be realistic...so he played one incredible match, doesn't mean he's superman and will win everything!!!! GM needs some objective arguments

I was actually expecting a thread like that to show up right after David won. He delivered, but of course he did. Clay dead is that predictable & never ceases to amaze me.

Next thing you know, they will proclaim that David can walk on water and part the Red Sea.
