I don't think that there is any live streaming/coverage of this event until the weekend, which is a shame.

The match has just gotten underway. David is down an early break against Malisse, 1-2*.

Come on David hes just playing out of his skin, you know this guy is just a flash in the pan over talented underachiever, weather the storm move him around get lots of balls back into play, high percentage aggression, just dont be aggressive towards yourself or your racket!!! DONT LOSE YOUR HEAD COS HE WILL LOSE HIS IF YOU WEATHER THE STORM AND KEEP GOING FOR THE WIDE AND WIDE PLAY (not that shouting on a forum will mean that david will get my msg)

That's a whole lot of assumptions to make.

Double break down now (1-4*), this set is as good as gone. Not a good way to start a match against someone you own a 4-0 head-to-record against.

If anyone else is here, please post since live scoring is kind of boring and I'm bored.

-----------
David just had 0-40 on Malisse's serve but wasn't able to break so it's 1-5 now.

Ok that set went by in a flash. 6-1 to Malisse.

Lost six consecutive games from 1-0, broken three times in one set. David will have to pick it up significantly.

Re: Let's hope David can slice and dice his opponents at the home of Miami Vice

David has had break point opportunities in all of Malisse's last three service games and is now 0/6 break points converted. It's now 1-2 in the second set.

---

Now of course Malisse breaks, Malisse has broken in every game where he has had a break point. 1-3.

---

David broke back and I didn't even notice, stupid jumping scoreboard. 2-3 now.

David broke back to get the match back on serve at 4-5 of course. Now I'll wait to see if he can hold serve here since he has been having a lot of trouble on serve today.

Re: Let's hope David can slice and dice his opponents at the home of Miami Vice

So that's David out of the tournament already 6-1 6-4 loss to Malisse.

Some things I noticed following the scoreboard:
- David did not once win a service game as soon as he went down break point(s). Normally he is a lot better at saving break points than that.
- 2/8 break point conversion rate.
- He didn't serve well at all and struggled on his serve most of the match.

This probably directly applies more to the second set since he was soundly beaten in the first.

I read a couple of days ago from Linex on Bodo's blog that apparently the World Rally Championships in Argentina starts on Monday in Argentina so now he will be able to take the flight home to watch that.
