Re: The Asado Thread: Chat (and Chew) Here

HI everyone. It was my sister's wedding this past weekend so had no time for this earlier. Anyway, my name's Fatimah,i am 20 and a freshie at my university hoping to graduate with a major in econ. i love reading and listening to music and surfing the net. My favorite sports are tennis and football. fav tennis players are nalby, the spainiards (except almagro)and Safin.I am a huge liverpool fan. I would love to see a live tennis match but unfortunately i don't think it's a realistic possibilty in the near future. the upside is that my cable network shows a lot of tennis so i am happy most of the year. I don't normally take part in chat threads cuz i am kind of shy but bcoz it's Nalby's forum i just had to join.
oh and i hope he has an AMAZING season. I am just so excited about 2008.

Hi, Fatimah. That was painless, wasn't it?

I'm from North London so it was always going to be Arsenal. There's no way I could have supported Spurs.

I needed something different; otherwise, I would have gone crazy.

How to travel for 1.5 years:
Oh... sold myself to the devil for a few years (i.e. banking) to save lots of cash.
Spend less than I earned.
Got a 'working holiday visa' so I could legally get jobs in foreign countries to supplement travel money.
Don't have debts.

BTW. Have you gotten married or planning a wedding? Congratulations either way.

Perhaps they intend to release the site after Aussie Open coz they don't want to jinx David.lol. Actually they have more stuff to put on after AO.
But an offical site? Does it mean Nalby will write blogs on it?

hehe, you have a young heart. It's great to be a tour guide and also good to live in Europe where you can travel to a lot of countries without visa.

and hi to everyone

When it comes to soccer, I don't get it why China can't make some noise in the world while it has such a large population. They can lose to small countries like Thailand on any given day,not to mention Iraq,Japan and Korea. They just suck...So I seldom watch soccer.lol.

Hi Soph, I think if one doesn't make posts when he/she visits the forum, the credits will diminish. I'm struggling to make it possitive.

Re: The Asado Thread: Chat (and Chew) Here

Oh, people are discussing soccer here. Well, I should be a soccer fan since you have to be in Holland but I'm not all that interested to be honest. I watch it when I have to since you can't really escape it and I do like watching European or World Championships. This year I actually look forward to the European Championship since we're in the 'pool of death.' That should make for interesting matches and an early excit from all the maddnes. Yay!
Also, Claudia....congratulations! I believe your wedding still has to happen, right? Did you set a date yet? Do you have a dress already? Questions....questions....
And finally: Tiff, you are a warrior for putting up with teenagers on a daily basis.

Vamos David and Juan Carlos

Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid it will never truely begin.

Good morning, all. It's afternoon here...although it's cold and dreary outside. I want to go out, but where? To the bookstore? To a friend's house? For now, I'm fighting a stiff, sore neck, and I just updated my blog here.

Sounds interesting. I've always wanted to go travelling one day but never got round to it. Maybe now.....

Sounds just like London. I haven't seen sunlight in weeks. Oh and I REALLY don't like winters.
