David at Halle

Well, i figured, we should move on to his next tournement, Halle, on grass!
GOOD LUCK!!! As long as he dosnt have Federer in his side of the draw, i consider him a big fav. to win the whole thing, which i'd love to see (and Wimbledon, of course)

Re: David at Halle

sorry bad news
la nacion 6/6/04

"I cant even move" said Nalbandian while he was standing close to
his brother Javier, Eduardo Infantino (trainer) and Jorge Trevisan
(physical trainer.)

Nalbandian was checked again yesterday at Suzanne Lenglen. This
situation complicates his immediate future which is his
participation at Halle in Germany.
.
Once he knows the results that he wil have in a few days. It will
be determined if he will go back to Unquillo or will stay in Europe
to participate in Wimbledon.

Shit! Let's hope it's nothing serious and he takes this time to rest and get ready for Wimbledon.

it's so terrible....is that so serious??? i don't want that damn injury appear again, and just before such important Wimby.
ok, he can retire from Halle, but should recover before the next GS. Everyone know what it means if the injury prolongs.
God bless your recovery, david~~

Re: David at Halle

I think it'll be better if he withdraws from Halle, but I don't think it's that bad, I know he'll be ready for Wimby...He has to!

Re: David at Halle

Having been in Paris - seen David play - and spoken to a few people - well - I am very, very worried about this My own view is he won't be ready for Wimbledon - or if he is - the lack of practice will seriously hamper his success there. Sorry to be so pessimistic

Re: David at Halle

Last sunday I woke up without being able to move my arm, I had a contraction in my back, near my shoulder and it was awful, I got it after playing tennis and it hurt like hell, but after 4 or 5 days it got much better and I don't feel it anymore. Maybe being in the intercostal zone it feels even worse and they're checking it to make sure, but I think he'll be fine for Wimby. I wanna believe that's it and it's nothing serious...
