Not sure about that that! Petschner has a great Serve and solid Volley. He was the perfect partner for Melzer.

Nestor knows he's not getting any better with age, he's had a little success with Vasek in Davis Cup, and Vasek is getting better, and he has the tools for doubles. Vasek could be a decent partner for Nestor and Nestor could tutor him about life on tour.

Is it just me or has anyone else though about they could be a full time partnership eventually
At his age, Nestor has no "eventually" in him - it's now or never.

Ending it teaming with / mentoring Vasek would be ideal I think ... Vasek definitely has the tools to be Canada's best doubles guy in the years ahead. Don't think Vashy will be keen to do singles & doubles for all the tourney's he is planning on entering now that his ranking gets him in (and seeded at times!). Also, would like to see Nestor maybe play a few tourney's with Milos (who will probably play a couple more doubles this year). Would be great mentorship there too.
I don't see Pospisil as a good doubles player. As the saying goes: 'He can't volley to save his life'. He is definitely not a natural volleyer.
I think Raonic has much better potential to be a good doubles player - his hands are much better than Pospisil's.

I think the reason that Raonic has not been playing doubles with Nestor in Davis Cup more is because they want him to save his energy (both physical and psychological) for singles. Or perhaps Raonic simply doesn't want to play doubles.
Pospisil is practical to have on the team because he can play the other singles (or alternate with Dancevic, etc., as has been the case at times), and throw him in in doubles, hoping that Nestor carries him - which Nestor has been able to do for the most part - but he is definitely declining with age.

Adil Shamasdin is worth a look as the main doubles guy once Nestor retires. Shamasdin is kind of a 'doubles specialist', and has practiced with the Davis Cup team, so the guys and coaches know him...

Talking Re: Doubles Entry List

Most likely , Nestor and Lindstedt will end their partnership and Lindstedt will get back with Tecau .

Their results are saying it and also in an interview with Tecau (in Romanian) he insinuated that.

P.S : Will Tecau / Mirnyi be among the seeded teams at the USO ?

Re: Doubles Entry List

Of course I mean next season .

P.S : That is the entry ranking but for the seeding it's 55 , not 43. I hope they will be at least the 16th Seeds.
