I loved the one you published

If I have some time off I'll translate it, but it's gonna be hard now with my hometown tennis tournament coming

Unfortunately he's out of every single tournament until Roland Garros and even that one isn't sure. Rest and take care of yourself Tommy. We love to see you On Court, but only and if you're completely healthy
Thank you for your reply
It's not so bad, I think I could understand almost what he was talking about.

Have a nice week and a lot of fun at your hometown tournament

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

He tweeted the other day that he's hoping to be back for Rome--he's back training again (and twitpiccing pictures of his backside, which was nice ). I'm torn between being pleased he could come back and make the most of points-grabbing opportunities, and fretting that he's not giving it long enough and might aggravate it still further. But then, my default state is fret.

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

It's so nice to see the photos he's tweeting

I think he will not risk getting the injury again, seeing as he got it twice in a row now... That could do a lot more damage in the long run

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

Even my dad is worried he'll come back too soon and hurt himself again. My dad had the same injury as Tommy and it took him a year to recover fully.
But then again, he's been posting pictures of himself biking, so . . . lol

It's still too soon to say anything. Hopefully he can be ready to play in Nice. We'll have to wait and see. But as I always say: Patience is a Virtue

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

He's out of RG, too.

I'm telling myself it's sensible, that it's good for him to wait to be sure and not risk aggravating it still further ...but that's not working so well right now.

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

I also just read that Tommy is out of RG and I am very sad as well

First RG for me without Tommy...it will surely not be the same!

Of course I want him to recover completely, but it has been such a long time now since I saw him the last time and I was so hoping for RG... sooooo sad

I'm not sure... he's not on the entry list for Rosmalen, and the last time he missed that tournament was when there was a clay tournament in Sopot the same week. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not going to Wimbledon either!

I believe that is connected with the fact that this year, if he went to Rosmalen, he wouldn't be seeded enough to have a Bye on the First Round. And since the tournament starts on Sunday, the same day of the Final of the III Open Memorial Santi Silvas, he would have to be there to play either Sunday or Monday and miss his own Tounament. He probably decided to stay in Olot for the final and then start practising for grass somehwere else, without stressing himself, as he did in the last two years.

Nevertheless, I'm sorry cause I know how much you wanted to see him play on your home Tournament

As for the injury we'll have to wait and see. I believe he'll only come back when he's 100% sure he can do it without taking any risk with his health
