Really? Aw, that's really mean!! All I know is, he doesn't seem like the NICEST person so I didn't dare ask when he was walking off. There was a group of people waiting for at least half and hour for an autograph and he walked off without signing anything. But someone called him back and he came back...kinda reluctantly. My best friend thinks he's a grump.

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

He is just young, so he probably can't hide his feelings so good and not to show for example the bad mood. He will get mature, will have a fix gf, and he will change his behavior. Guys are get later mature as girls anyway.

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

I've only seen him be a grump once, and I didn't blame him one bit! It was at the USO a couple years ago after Verdasco kicked his ass. Some annoying woman was yelling at him to sign for her and he just grimaced at her, waved, and kept going. She was yelling at him that he wasn't very nice or some such rubbish and then complained after he was out of ear shot that all she wanted was a bloody autograph. Blech. People like her need to understand that highly competitive people sometimes don't want to humour you right after a bad loss. Yes, it's nice when people do, but most of them (in my experience) don't. She's luck she got a wave; he hsould have flipped her the bird

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

chloe, i've seen that once, but it was when rusedski wouldnt sign anything for her son... and greg heard her complain too

the times ive seen him, he seemed like a very nice guy... altho maybe thats cuz i was the ONLY one asking him for an autograph after his practice in fact, whenever i saw him in cincy, no one knew who he was so i was always the only one there, and yeah the coach rememebered me and shot weird looks over alot

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

I think a lot of people in Oz don't care if they don't know who the player is, they just get autographs anyway --> which is annoying for me, cos they come crowd my personal space (in front of Robredo). One year, some kids ran up to Mikhail Youzhny and said in a really stuck-up voice, "Are you a tennis player?" Kinda embarrassing. He looked pissed off.

Oh yeah, and I was sitting right in front of Robredo's parents.

Jelulia88 says: he had his top off and rubbing sunscreen on himself, like he was a 20 yr old... for someone his age that is just wrong. maybe it's a spanish custom or something...

Re: ~<Tommy News>~

Well, I've only seen him a little bit in Madrid, so I can't really judge it... But maybe it's also a 'shyness' thing? Cause I know from experience that shy people are easily mistaken for arrogant people I'm not saying that that's the only reason, but it's something to consider. And, of course, everybody has bad periods in his/her life! Although, IMO, that's not a reason to not be nice to other people. But, like I said before, I've never talked to him or anything, so I can't judge it.

Crazygirl, I agree that having a gf/bf can help people a lot, I know it has for me! It's such a great feeling to have someone in your life (besides your parents) who will love you no matter what. It's not a solution for everything, but it can definitely help give you more confidence etc. If it's the right person for you, that is
