Pobre de Alex -- such a terrible year for him, must be so frustrating. I wonder if he'll make it into the draw for Toronto and Cincy??

Re: Next tournaments

I have some good news from Alex! Alex is playing a invitation Tournament in Luanco (Spain). It is named Tenis playa and is a Tennistournament at a beach.Alex won his first match at Friday against young spaniard David Diaz and yesterday semifinal against Marocian El Mounir. Now he is in the final!
The best news is,that his injury seems not so bad.
Alex is also in the players list of Washington!
You can look at www.tenisplaya.com for information.
So lets hope, that he have a good time at U.S. Tournaments.

Re: Next tournaments

Hi!
On a spanish web-site I have read, that Alex lost the final because he still has trouble with his injury. He has a slipped disc in the neck.
In the interview Alex said, that he wants to continue and to travel with his wife and daugther, and that he is not unlucky with the situation,he wants to end his career at a high level.
It is good to hear, that he will not give up.So,I hope he will be o.k. for the U.S. season. He is such a great fighter and deserves a big comeback.
