Re: Newport Entry List (updated June 5, 2013)

Anybody knows why Berankis isn't here? I guess after Wimbly, he will go straight to USA so why he isn't here?

Probably 2 Americans/Mahut

Although I could see a top 10 or 20 player deciding late to play here for an appearance fee/vulture easy points.

Re: Newport Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated June 29, 2013)

So Ram, de Schepper, Isner, and Mannarino are all likely to pull out
Would get Karlovic in though, which he desperately needs though I imagine he'd come through qualies

Pathetic

Maybe McEnroe was right and he was tanking. Either way I wish ITF would make it a rule if you quit a match you can not play another tournament for minimum 2-3 weeks. Absurd he can quit and leave people who paid for Wimbledon tickets eating crow then show up the next week for another tournament.

Re: Newport Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 3, 2013)

Delbonis is kinda moron when he schedules his tournaments...

he enters Newport (then withdraws) but doesn't goes to Bogota, where there is a weak field. He didn't picked any clay tournament at Europe, but finally he decides to enter Hamburg qualy.

Dumb

They can't make that rule cause they don't know if a player quit a math for sure.
