Re: Qualification Draw

Broady couldn't have asked for a better draw. Let's see if he can do anything with it.
And can Bambridge possibly upset Pella?

Well he could have asked for the one of the wild cards as a first round opponent and on his day Thornley is a much better player than his ranking suggests but yes it is a very good draw for Liam.

Yep, no doubt about it. Alund is the weakest seeded player, at least on this surface, by a country mile.

The difference is that JWH is in Wimbledon quallies as a wild card. If Dustov and Ito don't show at Wimbledon quallies no one (I am talking about the authorities) will care. If JWH doesn't show up for his wild card the LTA are not likely to be impressed.

Strange that Ito is here when he is due to play Wimbledon qualies.

Re: Qualification Draw

Stupid fuck up by the organisers here. Jonny O'Mara travelled to Eastbourne having been told he would get a qualifying wild card if he failed to make it in direct. When the draw was released last night he appeared on it and was the last direct acceptance. It was later discovered that an error had been made and Marcus Daniell had been left out so he took O'Mara's place in the draw. Obviously by now the wild cards had been allocated so O'Mara missed out altogether.
