Qualifying Draw

order of play is out on the ATP website. Looks like very weak Qualifying field. Ilija Bozolijac should be able to qualify. all players in draw appear to be ranked below 150

Re: Qualifying Draw

Groth served an epic 39 aces in a 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 win over Goodall in round 2 (18 in the first set).

Goodall led 7-6, *4-4, 40-15 before choking away that game and then losing the next 5 as well.

Re: Qualifying Draw

And somehow, Melo managed to beat both Bogdanovic and Weintraub.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Really pissed about Francisco Bahamonde. He comes to Queens to play, but the director rejected him since he lost his last ranking point last fall, and the director rejected him, so he is there for nothing now.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Re: Qualifying Draw

Bopanna, Zimonjic and Melo all in the final qualifying round (even though i'm not really that surprised about Bopanna)

Re: Qualifying Draw

glad to see Bozoljac in final round qualifying. Bopana and him should be a competitive match up.

Re: Qualifying Draw

Great to see Melo advancing to the final round here. However, I don't see him beating Jamie Baker tomorrow. Too good in grass for Melo... but hopefully he will surprise me. Anyway, awesome run, will get into the singles rankings again and might be able to get into many more ATP qualies during the rest of the year!

Re: Qualifying Draw

All 4 doubles specialists lose in the FQR. Oh, well. It was good while it lasted.
