Re: Qualifying Draw

Renzo.... Thought he would win. But at least now I can root for Arguello in the last round.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Re: Qualifying Draw

I am going with:

actually, I shouldn't say because I am in tennis tipping. But definitely Arguello over Sock!

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

They really cant afford to do that even with the lucky loser rule.

And why would they? Go for the ranking points when you can!

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos

Re: Qualifying Draw

maybe not tank in the first place, but it certainly makes a difference if you know you already secured a MD spot

Because the system in grand slam is different. Contrary to other tournaments it is not the best ranked that is LL. the organization selects the best 8 ranked who lose in the last round and it s a lottery between the 8. Sure that darcis or ungur will be in the 8 best if they lost, but nothing is sure if they are LL.

As far as I know, 3LL sure. Can go until 4 with Mayer and maybe more...

wasn't it a lottery between the 4 highest ranked players?

Re: Qualifying Draw

No it is LL spots plus X players. With 3 LLs it's 3 out of 6 or 7 I think.
