Re: Roland Garros Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 14, 2013)

Is Nadals seeding known yet? I'd be disappointed if we weren't treated to a Djokovic/Nadal final, I don't think anything else would be competitive enough. Is it only the top 4 seeds that are placed at definite spots in the draw?

The seedings will be done next week, after the ROme tournament.
Only the top 2 seeds are placed a definite spot. Third and fourth seeds are drawn, as all the seeds are (but with some restrictions).
Rafa will be seeded 4th if he wins Rome, otherwise it will be Ferrer.

I don't think they (read Novak and Rafa) should absolutely meet in the final. If they meet before, so be it. It will be a GREAT match whenever they meet honestly.

Re: Roland Garros Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 14, 2013)

Cheers for the info.

I wouldn't be hugely disappointed of course. I just feel at this point in time it would be the best final to ask for. Last years was marred a little bit due to the rain delay just as Djokovic was getting in control, I think if the match played out without rain we'd have had a classic on our hands. And with their recent Monte Carlo match it'd be fitting for Nadal to play him in the FO final rather than one of the other players who can't seem to touch him on clay.

to be honest another reason I'd love them to be split up in the draw is because I have 2 different bets going which I made ages ago, one with Djokovic to win and one with Nadal to win...

Murray may pull out. So, if Ferrer wins the title in Roma and Federer loses next round, it is possible that Ferrer could be number 2 seed.

This is my point, the odds are just about impossible. But I am a Ferrer fan, just with only a week to go it is still possible.

Re: Roland Garros Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 16, 2013)

Well, although Rafa just beat Ferrer, I'd probably fancy Berdych to give him more than a good go in the semi.

I feel like Murray will pull out to give himself a better chance on grass, they way he is playing on clay and physically feeling, it really would be pointless to take part in the FO. I suppose his decision will ultimately decide whether Rafa gets no.3 or 4...

Re: Roland Garros Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated May 16, 2013)

how is it handled if BACHINGER, who is #1 on the ALT list right now, plays qualies (which start tomorrow). suppose he doesnt make it through the qualifiers, but he would get into the MD because during the next days one player withdraws from the MD. will he then get into the MD, although he played qualies and did not make it?
