I guess that a player that withdrawn from a Main Draw can't receive a WC.

Can someone confirm me that a player that withdrawn from an Entry List can recover his place or once you withdrawn you are totally out?

False.

Last time I remember it happening in an ATP event was Safin in Moscow after his mountain-climbing debacle:

Re: Miami Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated March 11, 2013)

I wrote to Miami tournament and with innocence I asked if Gulbis with his new ranking could get in the main draw.
They aswered me:
"Gulbis is a going to be playing in qualifying for a chance at playing in the main draw.
Obviously, that could change sometime between now and the 18th. Check our website for more information later on."

So, as there is one WC still there to grab, maybe they will use their judgement even if he is not an IGM customer.

Also, if Nadal decides not to go, another spot will open, but they should go with the alternate list first, I suppose.

It's so hard to see that João Sousa won't enter for one single place. Grrr

Re: Miami Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated March 15, 2013)

Great to see Nalbandian get in directly. Who will take his wild card? It would be great if Guido Pella could, of course this is not possible, my guess is same as Indian Wells with Sock.

Horacio Zeballos - Maximo Gonzalez - Eduardo Schwank - Carlos Berlocq - Diego Schwartzman - Facundo Bagnis - all the other Argentinos
