OK...I'm going out on a limb and predicting the results for the Siebel Open...up to the semis anyway. My semifinal prediction is a wild one...at least half the draw.
top half...Roddick vs. Dent
bottom half...Fish vs. Tursunov
That's right...I've got Tursunov into the semifinals...here is the logic. His first round match is against a qualifier so he shoud be ok. Then he most likely plays Wayne Ferreira (#8 seed)....Ferreira is steady but Tursunov has enough power to win. That bring him to a matchup (most likely) against Andre Agassi...I think Tursunov is ready for a break through...he won in Hawaii last week and is ready to win a big one.
In the end, I think Roddick looks like the winner...
There's a definite American flavor to this event! It would be nice if Todd, Wayne, or Robby stopped Andre. If Roddick and James get to the quarters, it should be a great match! The guys from the Davis Cup are all probably leaving on the same plane and spending another week with each other, lol!
