I have a feeling the scoreline will be similar to the one in Monte Carlo - the conditions are faster, which aids both men, but if Roddick can bagel Rusedski on hard then he has to wipe him out on clay.
I do hope the Italian crowd aren't hoping for great things from Di Mauro after his performance last year against Srichaphan, undoubtedly one of the three worst matches of 2004. But they may have a fun time with Seppi, who has potential on this surface, against the clay-allergic Aussie Pim. And yay, with interactive coverage I get to see Carlsen and Srichaphan displaying their mastery of the dirt on the same afternoon! This is what Masters Series tennis is all about.
Oh my - what an OOP! I'll be running round Foro Italico like crazy!!! There's so many matches I want to see and seems like they're all on at the same time
I never knew they cared! Rusedski is dead meat, clear as water, but if Henman ever had any chance against Kuerten on a claycourt then this is it. Guga is still the favourite, but Ancic did beat him in Monte Carlo and Henman's style of play isn't too dissimilar, certainly not on this surface...
IMO better for an OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT PAGE would be if it completely abstained from such "predictions", "announcements"... whatever you want to call that
"Britain's best put to test" is a good headline, but if they just left out the following two sentences, it would be good enough too
(no matter if they are right at the end or not!)
 Yeah well.... poor Greg has it all to do against the top seed, Andy Roddick, who is surely set to clinch his second clay ATP Tour title of the year next week.
