BTW Congrats to Rafa for winning Wimbledon. Well done.
Agreed! There will be no event or other hoopla. The only hope for us is if he does decide to play the senior tour one day. But I doubt it will be for a while. Lucky Carolina, right place, right time, huh!

Oh, we will also see him when he is inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame. We should all go and meet to give him out support! What year? Who knows but he will be there!

Re: ~Carlos *News*&*Articles* Thread~

He said it this morning at a press conference in Umag that he does not plan to retire yet...and the tournament director said that he's very happy that the next year will be 15th time in Umag for Carlos...so it's all good (for us )

Well that's a relief!
Like I said...It was mentioned in an article on ThinkSpain...

Just goes to show - Believe half of what you hear and a quarter of what you read

If he plans on making his 600 match wins, he better pull up his little cotton socks and start winning again!

He was elected the honorary director of the organizational committee of Umag, and said that he won't be taking the role that soon, and to give him 2 more years as a player.

Re: ~Carlos *News*&*Articles* Thread~

Well that is good news now I don't mean to upset anyone but does this week mark the 1st year anniversary of Carlos and Caroline.

If it is I hope he does the right thing and win the tournament if he can't then can Willy Canas win.

I think it's earlier than that, this is about time when paps caught them, they've been creeping long before that.
A lot of things go down in Umag so she should've considered tagging along this year...

Yes Umag does seem like the tournie when lots of things go down with the players. Must be all that sunshine.

Re: ~Carlos *News*&*Articles* Thread~

I just read in "Inside Tennis" that Carlos is playing in the CountryWide Classic in Los Angeles. I'm 1 hour and 15 minutes from there! I'm going. Tixs are cheap compared to IW Masters.

Isn't there a WTA event happening there as well. Flavia is playing in LA sometime in the next couple of weeks. Mmm interesting. I will have to go to Flavia's site and check.

Carlos Moyá In Black offers an inventive design based in dark, and the matte tones offering a sharp contrast against the silver accents.

Carlos Moyá In Black embodies a man who is talented and excellence in all tasks. The mobility to the fragrance appeals to a purposeful man who is sportier and easier in his approach to the demands of his life, a man with an enthusiasm for fun, for the sake of it, an openness of the mind and soul. A man who believes in perfection, preparing his mind and body to be the number one. For him, being the best is the constant challenge. And thus, Winning is the only option. This essence is hidden in his very core so that it can only belong to him. Carlos Moya launches its three new fragrances: Carlos Moya In BLACK, Carlos Moya and Carlos Moya Magnetism.
