my friend Laura from Barcelona told me:

Quote:
they don't say anything about it...they say there's a match exhibition and the money will go to the Association against cancer and that it will be as well an homage to Joan, but dunno if the homage it's because he has cancer or just an homage as a coach

If he does perhaps he wanted this to be a private matter and if he does perhaps this is the reason for the coaching change and the reason for some of the emotional ups and downs Carlos has seemed to be going through. We will probably never know.

This is not the first time that Carlos exhibition matches go to Health Foundations. Last year there was a similar event where T-shirt sales were not only the way to get tickets but also to generate income for the fight against Hunger. The beneficaries that time were the people of the island.
I saw Joan Bosch last April 18th at Montecarlo and looked in good health.
From my point of view this event was only a way to pay an hommage to his ex-coach and very good friend before starting the next season in January 2007. Let us not forget that very soon, the weather turns grey and then everybody is gone to Vienna BA-CA cup or Stockholm, then Madrid TMS, Paris TMS , Shanghai Master Cup final and Moscow (Davis Cup Final ).
I also believe the MACQ wallpaper is great : He will be back...we don´t know how or were or doing what...but he will be back happy and smiling as he was in the US Open. That is Carlos nature : a happy kid. It is ture though that something is missing...and we don´t seem to be allowed to know it. Thank´s God for that since we all need our privacy for good or for worse. Warm regards to entire world Moya fans. Maya Patel /carinpatel@hotmail.com
