Re: Has Hewitt lost some of his intensity?

Hewitt hasn't lost any of his intensity. He's still as annoying as ever.

Watching Hewitt and Nadal try to out fist pump and "CMON!" each other should be a treat, though.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Re: Has Hewitt lost some of his intensity?

If anything Hewitt has gained confidence because he seems to think Australia loves him and his antics.

One thing he has lost is a bit of speed due to his bulking up which hopefully Nadal will exploit

Next thing you know, he's too fat to play on the Aus Davis-Cup team

Rumour has it that he's going to be replaced by Todd Reid.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

What a let-down Hewitt turned out to be. Really sad

Re: Has Hewitt lost some of his intensity?

I think that lawsuit with the ATP has taken a lot out of him. To me, it's ridiculous that he would even pursue it as actively as he has.
Meanwhile, his competitors have gotten smarter and have developed their games to a point where they can actually beat him.

Re: Has Hewitt lost some of his intensity?

Hewitt lost both his intensity and his temper in that match with Roger.

Maybe he lost his temper, who wouldn't?! Roger was almost a wall for every Hewitt's shot.

But I don't think he has lost intensity, though I don't like him, I think he still having the intensity right there, you could see clearly on him the desire of winning, etc. He is the same.....the ones who have changed are the other guys: Roddick, Roger, David, etc.

Aren't all love stories destined to fail?
