Has he actually played a big match though? he may be overwhelmed especially in the first set.
I'd say that his biggest matches so far have been Paradorn in the third round of Wimbledon, and Hrbaty in the finals of Auckland. He played Moya in the semifinals somewhere too. Anyways, he lost all three of those, but I wouldn't read too much into that.
This Hewitt match is one that he's been looking forward to since the draw came out. There is an article on his fan site where he stated that he wanted Hewitt on Rod Laver.
