Re: Auckland draw

my goodness, Guga vs Alex in the 1st round of such a small event... :retard:

And pfffff@Nadal vs Schalken What a tough rival for Rafa... however it's gonna be a good test for him, I guess although he is currently in a slump (well, kind of)
Anyways best of luck to:
Corretja
A Martin
Nadal *but if he loses good luck to Schalken then*
Gonzalez

Re: Re: Auckland draw

I don't know Nacho, I have this horrible feeling that Nadal could slaughter my man, he's beaten better players than Schalken over the past year... but if Sjeng can get out of that one, definitely a good chance of making the semis!

Stepanek v Gaudio - a clash of the two surliest, most disagreeable personalities on the ATP Tour? And someone up there is having a laugh at Corretja, considering his last loss of 2003 was to Kuerten and it was as comfortable as ever.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Re: Auckland draw

I am wishing good luck to Sluiter because he is one of the few guys in the top 100 that I have never seen.

I miss: Ivan Lendl, Korda, Novak, Bruguera, Rios, Kucera, Courier, Mantilla, Costa, Santoro and Ferreira.

Good luck to:

Gaudio, Murray, Florian Mayer, Chela, Nalbandian, Radek Stepanek, Volandri, Youzhny and Verdasco.
