Re: The Marcel Granollers 2013 Season Thread

Into the second round of the Aussie Open in singles. Solid start to the season with a QF in Sydney.

Top thirty should be the aim for the first half of the season, and then consolidation.

Re: The Marcel Granollers 2013 Season Thread

Thanks for that Dee
I had a feeling that they would lose the SF's as their QF match was not as good as some of the earlier rounds. And I thought Marcel was the weak link yesterday. And here I said Marc's serve was the weak link during the end of year championships but as long as his first serve goes in they do well. Would have loved to see them against the BBros in the final. Oh well.

Hope January of 2013 went well for all of you. I can't believe it's nearly over. Time flies so fast!
I'm really nervous about this upcoming weekend. Marcel and Marc better play out of their skin! Their success is key always.

Re: The Marcel Granollers 2013 Season Thread

Lost easily to Dancevic, withdrew from his second match at DC. I don't know anything, hopefully nothing serious. Though they played a long doubles match.

Still on Rotterdam's list.

Vamos!! MD draw tonight, at 8 pm (CET).

Never ever give up

Twitter stated he was practicing again for Rotterdam I do not see that he and Marc are in doubles from MTF's entry list but have not checked the tournament's website

Agree. Serve off, tactics not great. Don't know what if anything is up or if this is the real level. He wasn't playing great in singles by the end of last year either so maybe loss of confidence.

Re: The Marcel Granollers 2013 Season Thread

Well he started similar the last year, though he was injured too I remember.

In Rotterdam, he plays against a qualifier in next round. Simon might be on the second if he wins one match at least.

He and Marc Lopez are first seed on doubles.

Never ever give up
