He needs to find his groove which he does as tournies go on and he plays more. And of course most of all- confidence which is lacking. I wonder if the Davis Cup loss is an issue in his singles
I don't get what the hell happened on that DC match. He is losing to Dancevic on Canada.. not too cool but it's okay, can happen at times and Dancevic is great at his best.
But won 5 games only..

It's over, it happened few weeks ago. Hopefully Marcel get his best very soon.
Hopefully Marseille's court is pretty slow.

He needs to start the match good then anything can happen I say.

Never ever give up

He won! And, more importantly he looked perky and together, and not dejected and defeated as he has been, so hurrah for that.

Also, earlier today this happened on Twitter

Does anyone know anything about this/heard this before? I've never seen any reference to it, and...judging by his parents' names I'm not sure it holds much water, but this person seems pretty convinced!

David Ferrer ▣ Tommy Robredo ▣ Marcel Granollers ▣ Javier Marti

Marco Chiudinelli ▣ Simone Bolelli ▣ Gerard Granollers ▣ Joao Sousa

Matteo Trevisan ▣ Inigo Cervantes ▣ Christian Lindell ▣ Oriol Roca

I would be very surprised at all with the above heritage. I think he was just trying to speak the lingo of foreign soil But I am glad he won and that he had a positive attitude!

Montañes in Dubai. Quick court against a slow-court specialist. Should really be winning and booking a date with Federer.

Lost the first set 6-4 to Naobandian in Indian Wells. Hopefully he can mount a comeback!
