Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

I just got the time to watch the Llodra match back again without the stressing and fretting and I noticed that the first thing he did after winning was go over to hug Oscar. It may be meaningless, but I felt that it said something reassuring about the closeness of their relationship. Clearly they've worked well together this week; long may this continue.

David Ferrer ▣ Tommy Robredo ▣ Marcel Granollers ▣ Javier Marti

Marco Chiudinelli ▣ Simone Bolelli ▣ Gerard Granollers ▣ Joao Sousa

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

Yeah, I noticed this too. Their relationship was quite bad in January I remember. It's good now.

Really good tournament Marcel.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

Marcel drew Daniel Brands in Barcelona, with Melzer in R2 if he makes it. Let's hope Melzer's traumatised by his semi-final loss today, hmm?

I'm not happy because of Melzer... Marcel has chance against him just if he withdraw...
Anyway Daniel Brands isn't hard opponent normally.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

That was a weird match. He looked so...out of sorts and listless; it was a little worrying. And then to come out and play the third set like that? Must have just wanted to go home to bed or something.

[Mostly trying not to think about Melzer, tbh.]

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

^^ Oh, momently I'm happy he won this match. I don't want to think Melzer.

Anyway he made similar against Becker in Miami. I'm not surprised because of this 'weird thing'.

Re: Marcel Granollers-Pujol

I didn't get to watch that one, so I don't know--but the important thing is he made it through this one. At his post-match presser he said he's taking it day by day, and not thinking beyond Wednesday's match. Which is kind of all he could say, really.

'Mi objetivo objectiu es ir día a día. No miro más allá del partido del próximo miércoles'

David Ferrer ▣ Tommy Robredo ▣ Marcel Granollers ▣ Javier Marti

Marco Chiudinelli ▣ Simone Bolelli ▣ Gerard Granollers ▣ Joao Sousa
