Re: Donald Young

He has it in him and I wish he does, but knowing him he wont . If he can be Lopez quite handily then we'll see, if he struggles he won't.

Re: Donald Young

I can easily see Donald losing to Lopez. He has to be really focused and try to get some type of results outside of the US. Quite frankly, he is in a position now where he is already become irrelevant in the tennis world, and if he wants to be known as a legitimate ATP player anytime soon and stop the mocking and negative views of him, this is the type of draw he needs to get through.

I really hope for his sake as well for all his fans that he makes it, I have confidence in him, hope he has it in himself.

Re: Donald Young

Donald won! 7-5 6-0! He was down a break in the first but got it back, broke and held, and won every game from that point on. Round 1:complete.

Round 2:Phau or Del Bonis.

Re: Donald Young

Given the way Phau played yesterday, I think Donald has a pretty good chance of winning.

Re: Donald Young

Don won again!!!! 7-5, 6-3. Donald won over 50% of Phau's return points. They play similar games, so I guess Donald was better on the day. He was down a break in both sets but came back to win both! Good job. I called it, too.

Rd 3 opponent: Delgado/Suzuki.
