pulled out of Cincy, maybe New Haven next otherwise its the Open.

#415 ·
Nevermind he got a WC into Cincy and plays Gulbis, tough match but he has a chance if he plays a good match. C'mon Young!

#416 ·
tough match for Young..... GOGOGO best luck to young

#417 ·
He lost to Gulbis 7-6(5), 6-4. Was down 5-2 then got a break back but couldn't get another 1. Overall I liked his effort even though he got broken twice in the 2nd Set, he did make it interesting. Next up maybe New Haven otherwise the US Open which he got a Wildcard for.

The Don got a Wildcard to New Haven.

#422 ·
Yeah, 1st up is Robert though, 1 at a time Don!

#423 ·
Up 2-1 against Robert before play got suspended, I guess its Robert's serve when they resume tomorrow at 10?

Go young

#426 ·
Yes sir! He defeated Robert 6-1, 6-2.:worship:

#427 ·
He plays tomorrow around 1pm or so (3rd match on Grandstand) hope to see live streaming for the match, should be a decent match.

#430 ·
Yeah on serve until 4-4. 4-3 Don had it at 15-30 and a 2nd serve but didn't do anything with it and lost every game their on.

#433 ·
He drew Gilles Simon in Rd 1 of the US Open, I guess somewhat winnable, but who knows.

#434 ·
He needs to improve ........and know how to gain positive momentum to be able to make big points

#436 ·
He needs to work hardly otherwise...nothing would happen

#437 ·
Hoping for a win tomorrow against Simon, C'mon DOn!

I knew the match-up was awful for him. They play similar games and Gilles is better. Don's biggest weakness was exposed in a major way today. He lacks pace and he lacks the ability to handle pace. He's too lightweight. We saw it against Matosevic in Aptos. He doesn't hit the ball hard enough and when he does he overhits the ball. He needs more beef in his game to compete in ATP events.

You think its something he can fix going forward?

#443 ·
He has shown that he can handle the Challengers quite well, but just needs to transition his game to the Tour. Next stop for him is going to be Tulsa so I wish him the title their, or at least a good run...Top 100 by the end of the year should still be a success for him considering he dipped down to the 200s earlier in the year.
