Yes, it is time for this thread to make a strong comeback after suffering in the hands of a rabid Fedtard and sworn Nadal hater rolleyes for months.

Evita, I'm assuming that when you say "commute", you mean by car. Right?
If it's public transport, you can use the 50 minutes to read. My commute (bike/train/metro) takes about 50 minutes from door to door but I don't mind since I read my newspaper in the morning and a book in the evening. The bike brings me in a good mood (it really does, weirdly enough), I take the train early enough in the morning to avoid school traffic so that I can have a seat. The only annoying part is the metro because that tends to be very crowded.
Which reminds me. When talking about trains, over here, they will say that your train is delayed when it's +5 minutes late. (so, they consider your train to be on time if it arrives less than 5 minutes later than scheduled). I was just reading yesterday, that in Japan, they measure delays in seconds, not minutes.
That's something I can't imagine. Throwing a tantrum because your train is 20 seconds too late.
No, I don't have a car. I take either one bus or two buses (depending on their schedule) and then I have a 15 minute walk. This is the cheapest way so that's what I usually do. Sometimes I get out at a stop in the center and take a different bus or trolleybus that takes me closer (only 6 minutes of walking) but they don't come as often as the other buses and I need to buy a separate ticket for them so I only do that if the weather is really bad or if I happen to be at the stop at exactly the right moment. I think I have more than 50 bus/bus/microbus/trolleybus combinations to choose from so sometimes I even think for more than 20 seconds about which option would be the best in that particular situation
Reading is definitely not an option, I almost always have to stand. But I try using that time to listen to some Korean podcasts or to the Finnish radio so it's not totally wasted.
Re: Rafachat - Vol. 80: It's comeback time baby!!! :rocker2:
Korean is really something special If you don't want to miss out on it anymore, go straight here and start with the first lesson I'm currently studying level 7 already, it's taken me a little more than a year to get this far.
Evita, me voisimme joskus puhua suomea. Miten suomen kielen opintosi sujuvat?
I said we could sometimes speak Finnish with Evita but here would not be a good place obviously. No other languages allowed.
If I could get a penny for every time I'm asked this question  Actually the website that I posted the link to was a big reason, they have a very good teaching style and a very enthusiastic community. I couldn't find anything like that for Japanese or Chinese. Plus you don't have to learn thousands of Chinese characters because Korean has an actual alphabet. Later on I also fell in love with the Korean culture and their way of life (and the TV dramas!) but that wasn't part of my initial motivation.
Edit: Oh yeah, I was unemployed when I started this project, it was just something to spend the time on a bit productively. Now it's much more

The new Apple building looks cool with quite a few interesting features in it (from what I saw) but the price tag attached to the new structure (€ 5 billion) mid-economic crisis makes me think that the profit margins of Apple are insane.
Not that I didn't figure already that their profit margin must be huge but that building is just sheer and utter arrogant laughing-in-your face madness

^^I agree
The opera was awesome, Jonas was so hot that you could fry an egg on it but sadly he was not in his best voice. He had had a cold these past days, even having to cancel the first two dates of the show, to the much dismay of opera goers ( and mine as I consider suicide after the Barcelona 2010 fiasco and then this ) and I suppose the Opera director gave him a blow job or something to make him sing last night but he was barely audible
But he looked good which is all that matters, really
The level of snobbery in the Opera audience was almost reaching Fed forum levels and I was about to have a fist fight to my chair neighbor
The caviar, fois gras and salmon sandwiches were very good. They were also lilliputian and very expensive So was the champagne glass.
I looked great in my new lace tunic and varnished leather bag.
I didnt like the production as a whole that much but the second act was great, acting and production wise. The singing was great from Kundry and Gurnemanz, so and so for Amfortras, good from the flower maidens and frankly embarrassing from JK. But he looked great, did I mention that?
The opera is a huge building with impressive Neo-Renaissance style decoration.
All in all, a very pleasant evening that I should repeat in October if I'm lucky

I don't know how Argentina can win in the Czech Republic if Berdych is playing and del Potro isn't
