One of my work mates keeps going on about how Djokovic will never be as dominant as Federer in his prime when "no one could touch him"

Have you seen the Nadal/Federer H2H kind sir? SMDH.

Re: Rafachat - Vol. 80: Always by Rafa's side on the way to clay & hard court dominan

Yesterday was one of the longest days...incredible how nervous I was. I reached rock bottom at about 3 p.m. here (so, with about 8 hours to go) due to my stomach doing something that felt like somersaults. I forced myself to calm down and luckily, I succeeded and by the time the match started, I was quite calm but jeezes...the tension.

Being so nervous over a tennis match
I still don't get it but I can't help myself.

I'm not holidaying but who can sleep during such a final?

I followed most of it on twitter as I loath Nadal vs Djokovic matches (too stressed out to watch them live). I did go to bed but I woke up every 30 minutes or so, giving me enough time to check out how the match is going on twitter.
I'll rewatch the match this evening or so.

When then the match was over, I was too hyped up to go back to sleep. I ended up watching some tv, waiting to come back down to earth enough for me to sleep.

Awww Hilde you're definitely worse than me.
I am the ice cold b!tch from Scandinavia. My stomach was fine, I wasn't nervous, I was busy all day until the match, didn't even have the chance to nap before the match but of course couldn't sleep during such a final although I tried. So I'll be having a healthy long sleep tonight, hopefully. I had 3 hours of sleep from 4 am till 7 am. Doing surprisingly OK.
I'm gonna have a stupid grin on my face again for like a week.

Just looked back in this thread....Metis Nalby-spamming the hell out of this thread during the final.
But, she's forgiven as she was about the only one posting here at the time.
(yes, you may thank me for being so magnanimous )

I used to pull all-nighters during the USO, seems like ages ago.

I've always loved sleeping too much to pull all-nighters for tennis or any sport.

Guys I know some of you have also been here for a long time so I'll say that it just blows my mind that here we are in 2013, sooo long after Rafa broke out and quite a ways past what I thought was his "peak" (around 2008) and he's still as motivated and successful as ever, if not more so! I want it to last forever but I know that of course it won't so here's to enjoying it very, very much in the moment

Should have been a 3 set beatdown but still, well done Rafa

Marias post gave me the impression that Nadal won 52:50 in the 5th after being two sets and two breaks down
