Enter the Clay God

i dedicate this thread to my fellow noble rafans, on the occasion of clay god creating history with his sixth french open triumph......this thread shall serve as an appreciation thread honouring the ultimate clay god nadal for his deeds on clay.......

discuss anything related to his clay deeds and other surfaces achievements if you wish......reminding everybody some of his greatest clay matches since 2005 would be a good way to kick off this thread......

Re: Enter the Clay God

Rafa is the best clay counter ever

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

Re: Enter the Clay God

Winning RG puts tons of "pression" away from him and shifts it to the other top players. Now playing freely only the sky is the limit. With a good draw at Wimby and US Open nothing is impossible. Vamos!

Re: Enter the Clay God

6 Roland Garros titles - what an achievement

RAFAEL NADAL and GRIGOR DIMITROV

Rafa winning at least one slam in 10 consecutive years is the best achievement in Open Era tennis since Laver won all 4 Grand slam tournaments in the same year!

Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion!

Re: Enter the Clay God

I am clay...and Rafa is my god...lol, so cheesy!!

I cannot imagine a day where Rafa will not win at RG! How many titles can he manage?? 10 maybe

My ideal ranking:
No.1 Rafa - he is my god beyond GOAT!
No.2 Fed - only cos his success make Rafa's even better
No.3 Delpo - he is my true no.2!!

I am not enjoying Nole's dominance and I am a Brit who doesn't support Murray!
I also love most lefties and Spainish players

10 was a real possibility had he not injured himself in 2009 and won the FO that year too.......it's still possible but we need to take two at a time........8 is a safe bet for now, there is no way anybody stops him from winning 8.......we will have to see where he stands after he wins 8 french opens.......

Re: Enter the Clay God

I am a little bit worried Rafa said himself he's a bit tired after RG. He has to have enough energy to be competitive in London. Then he should rest until Canada

yes it's understandable that he feels tired at this point just 3 days after the french open win.......no worries though, he will get a full week of rest after queens and maybe even 10 days if he loses early.......i think that's sufficient time for wimbledon.......grass doesn't hurt his knees either.......
