Re: Stay number 1 as long as you can- Rafa Ranking Thread

So Rafa is tied with Guga? I had no idea Guga remained number one that long.

More than him being number one, I want him to be able to play pain free. I've been down this road with so many of my favorites.

I have something like this in a spread sheet. I also have the breakdown for all the top 4.

Rafa's #1 is pretty much safe until after Wimbledon (unless he loses early), but its in trouble later on this summer. He can't defend the 800 from the Olympics and Federer is defending NOTHING in Cincy and Canada

Not to mention the schedule stagger

I hope Rafa will play his best in the end of the season where he hasn't got many points to defend and that fact will guarantee his year-end no.1

Re: Stay number 1 as long as you can- Rafa Ranking Thread

Hmm hopefully the schedule will be staggered better due to the fact that the first half of the year has been brutal especially on the knees. BUT I hope to see him in Montreal (that is me being selfish heehee).

great thread, thanks for starting

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Epic movies, like brokeback mountain, are seldom found in the industry or worthy for the mainstream viewer. As often as I have watched the clips of this movie, I always find something more to it. For one, the gay stuff doesn't enter the picture for me, only the dimension of the highest love I have ever witnessed in life or on film.

The update has been made, although most probably it is the last update before Rafa will lose the 1st position. No reasons to be happy

Re: Stay number 1 as long as you can- Rafa Ranking Thread

With the #1 lost now, is there any chance for Rafa to regain it to earn the year-end #1 for '09? I doubt it's likely, since Fed has heaps of points to pick up in Montreal/Cincinnati, plus after the US Open but can someone actually crunch some numbers? Thanks.

Vamos Rafa
