Well done Rafa! That tourney is worth nothing, let Tiriac's 33 children play instead.

So guys, do you think him skipping Madrid and not playing 3 weeks before RG is good or bad? Of course it's not like he's gonna lose RG first round because of being too rusty but would it not be better to have some real match practice before and you never know with the points later on, even if he doesn't need them that badly now. And it's not like he's been exhausted by the 3 clay court tournaments he's won. I hope I didin't jinx anything.

Re: Messing around in Madrid 2009

Considering how packed together the grass schedule is aswell right after RG I think a few weeks off before hand is possibly a very good idea. He doesn't need to play Madrid, he's already achieved what he did last year in the RG lead up, and his rankings lead is good to say the least.

14.

But as I said, you never know with the points, I as a greedy person say you can never have enough ... ranking points I mean.

Well, the crisis seems to be averted, for now at least I mean. Rafa's back on the players' list. Madrid website! But else do you want from the mobsters!

Re: Messing around in Madrid 2009

What's the news? Is Rafa still playing?

Congrats to Andy Roddick, 2017 Hall of Fame!
