Re: Rafa in Rome. Hell Draw!

Federer's got Canas in the second round?

Yes, Rome is fast, but except for JCF, most of the problem for those guys on clay is that they have no idea how to change direction. Speedy clay isn't going to assist with that problem.

Re: Rafa in Rome. Hell Draw!

I'm still mad about the second clay tournement with Nole in Fed's half! The only clay tournement when I'd see him gladly in Rafa's half would be RG! But, anyway, Fed's half Is anyone missing?

Re: Rafa in Rome

Am I the only one saying Kiefer/JCF

And Wawrinka, should be tired, no?

But first he's gotta get past the first hurdle.

Re: Rafa in Rome

I think the draw is ok. the best quarter is the 3rd one (roddick and the piranha , wtf) but nole's quarter looks like a hell. Let' say he has a good chance to progress in Rome, the player that worries me most is Denko but Feli can make us get rid of him

Linda you always start these threads early . And I had a more interesting thread title in mind (well it can't get more unoriginal than 'Rafa in Rome')

Actually I don't agree. I see Tsonga there in Rafa's half. I wonder how far he will go. Will he be able to advance to meet Nadal in the semifinal? And if so, what would happen? I mean, obviously Nadal will win, but, what would be the score? (6-0 6-1? or 7-6 7-5?)
The only worry is Chela.

Also, it would be interesting to see what happens with Roger Federer in this tournament... But yes, Nadal is going to win. The surprise would be if he didn't.

Metis, thanks for writing down my prediction to this tournament for the MIT.

That's what I said after Miami, but people want to play . Anyway it's only 3 tournaments left on clay (at most) and then we're back to the suspense of predicting the losses on grass and HC.

I wait until the draw. I don't like running the risk of someone who refuses to change the thread title twice a day starting the tournament threads.

What was your interesting title and I will change it instantly? Unless it was something boastful. We are with humble in the Rafa forum.

Fed's draw is pretty easy, thought I did laugh aloud when I saw that Nole and Nalby and Ferrer were in his half. Can't see him not making the semis. Final actually.

Hmm. I will decide after I see how he plays tomorrow.
